Artist, Stacie Spurrier has demonstrated her artistry for over 11 years. She is a graduate of the FauxFilled Dreams, School of Artistsry in Santa Rosa, CA where she completed her education in both, Comprehension of Faux Finishing and Venetian Plastering with honors. Her art has been appreciated in private homes and commercial locations all over the East Bay, Northern California and Nevada.
Her love for paint was truly inspired by her daughter, whom is the very reason Stacie first discovered her love for color and paint. She had started decorating her daughters nursery by refurbishing some old antique furniture, creating a very sweet, shabby chic vintage look to go with the theme she was trying to create - ‘amazing what a little paint will do’ were her favorite words. Those pieces of shabby chic antique furniture are still proudly displayed and treasured in her home to this day.
She has since then, moved from painting furniture to painting walls, transforming the ‘drab’ to ‘fab’ in the homes of many. As a member of the SALI Artisan League, Stacie continues to keep up her education in the faux painting industry and learn the latest techniques that are most popular.
Stacie’s passion for demonstrating her artistic talents started from humble beginnings in the privacy of her own home which later lead her to doing some huge improvements there. As word of mouth spread throughout her community her talents were requested by more than just friends and family, she hasn’t looked back since. |
